CHASING THE FALLING TIDE
This was one of the first videos I made exploring ways to view, experience and capture a landscape beyond paint. I have focused on a small abstract section of the vista examining the complexity of layers within such a small area. I worked on the painting over two days chasing a falling tide and returning at the same time the next day with (luckily) similar tidal and weather conditions. I enjoyed the challenge of capturing the colours reflected onto the surface and within different depths and areas of the shoreline currents.
