FAWN IN DANCING BLUEBELL RIVER LIGHT
This was a lovely tranquil day spent painting this scene, the warmth, the sound of the birds and water and at one point a young deer who emerged from a nearby coppice to watch me for a while. The changing, flickering light is caught well within this video as the clouds mask and uncover the sun which in turn breaks through the dappled canopy onto the forest floor and river bed, before reflecting back up in flickering patterns onto the lower leaves.
