THROUGH THE STORM

This piece was painted along with ‘Incoming Storm’ on a grey, dramatic, stormy day with no-one else around, (often my favourite conditions on the coast due to the drama and challenge). As I worked, a dark cloud appeared on the horizon and swiftly moved in soaking me and the paintings. I worked through it, covering each canvas (under a rock) from the heaviest onslaught and finished them just before the tide caught me.
