YELLOW SPLASH

This was an exciting piece to paint because of the drama from the high winds literally ripping the last of the colour from the trees as we approached winter. I am happy with the mark-making in the resulting piece, illustrated here with the skeletal contrasts between dark and light and the wild movements of the yellow leaves.
