Part of Stormchasers, a curated exhibition of fourteen storm works selected from nearly fifty paintings made across seven years of wild weather.

This work carries the looseness and speed that paper allows in storm conditions. The surface is finer and more responsive than canvas, and the marks feel closer to the first surge of seeing and reacting. It is one of the exhibition’s most direct translations of weather into gesture.
